Helicopter Spins Out of Control into Palm Trees at Popular California Shoreline
An aircraft hovering above a crowded California beach abruptly began spiraling wildly, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a row of palm trees as beachgoers watched.
Footage posted on social media capture the aircraft commencing to spiral over the beach then plunging towards the edge of the shore, where it becomes wedged among palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Details
Local firefighters stated five persons were transported to a medical facility involving two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were hurt. Specifics on their condition were not yet released.
